We have had both in-restaurant and catered meals from Newa Chen. Both meals were exceptional. The restaurant has a lovely ambience, definitely would need an expansion in space since its getting popular. The food, specially the Thali was very delicious. Momo was amazing. The catered meals were good too, very fresh and flavourful. Our guests loved the food and kept asking where it was from. The customer service was very efficient unlike some other nepali catering where I've had issues with communication. Everyone I spoke to at Newa Chen was very polite, professional and patient with our order and changes made to it. Overall, a pleasant experience and they will be our go-to catering service from now on.

Best Newari food in Sydney! We enjoyed the momos, swo, khaja set, and kachila every single dish was bursting with authentic flavour. The food was fresh, beautifully prepared, and reminded us of home. Absolutely loved our experience and can’t wait to go back!

A gem find for authentic Newari food. Absolutely rooted and delicious food. Fokso fry was as authentic as it can get so are other food that we tried. Nice cozy atmosphere with good decor. A must-go for anyone who wants to revive or explore Newari food at its best.

The food was absolutely top-notch — some of the most delicious and authentic Nepali flavours I’ve experienced in Sydney. My son commented "It was worth the drive". We drove 1 hour to try the food. Tasty food, chyang was amazing, bhutan was soft, warm and inviting ambience. We will definitely come back for dinner next time.
